What is a karate school tv display?

A karate school TV display is a screen in the dojo lobby, usually facing where parents wait, that shows classes by age, trial offers and practical notes. This board runs four slides: after-school karate for ages 4 to 13, the schedule by age group, a free 3 class trial, and a parents' corner.

This board runs on

Any screen with a modern browser. There is no media player box to buy and nothing to install: you open a link on the TV, pair it once, and change what it shows from your phone.

It is authored at 16:9, so stand the TV the usual way and the board fills it.

Questions people actually ask

Can we show students' photos on the lobby screen?
Only with written permission from a parent or guardian, and many schools avoid children's faces on screens altogether. This board uses belts and gear instead of people for that reason. A photo of the empty mat or the belt wall shows the school without putting a child on display.
What should parents see on a dojo screen?
Which class their child belongs in, when it runs, and the practical rules: drop-off time, waivers, uniforms and make-up classes. This board's parents' corner covers those four, so the instructor is not answering them between classes.
Can a martial arts school promise confidence or discipline on its signs?
Better not to. Promises about a child's confidence, discipline or safety are outcome claims you would need to substantiate. Describe the program instead: ages, class length, what a trial includes and how belts are tested.
Does the school need to buy any hardware?
Only a TV with a modern web browser, which most smart TVs have. Open play.channelos.tv on it and pair it from your phone with the code it shows. A TV without a browser can use a streaming stick, and there is no media player box to buy.
