Free digital menu board maker

Type your menu. Watch it become a TV board as you go. Download the PNG for nothing — or put it on a real screen in about two minutes.

This is the real player, not a mock-up — a screen would show exactly this.

The PNG is yours, no sign-up. Putting it on a real screen takes an account.

One dish per line — Name, Price. Paste your whole menu if you like.

Allergens, hours, taxes — the small print at the bottom.

Optional. Drop in your online menu or ordering link and it lands in the corner of the board.

What is a digital menu board?

A digital menu board is a TV screen that displays a restaurant's menu as software rather than print — so prices, dishes and specials can be changed in seconds without reprinting anything.

The board itself is the easy half. The half that decides whether it's worth having is what happens after: who changes the 6pm price, what shows on the second screen, and what the board falls back to when nobody's looking after it. A design tool hands you a file and stops there — Canva, for one, doesn't schedule or manage displays at all. This maker hands you the file too, and then keeps going.

From a typed list to a lit-up screen

  1. 1

    Type the menu

One dish per line, name and price. Paste your existing menu straight in if you have one.

  2. 2

    Pick the look

Fourteen cuisine styles, each with its own palette and board layout. Your menu keeps itself while you try them on.

  3. 3

    Put it on the TV

Open the board on any screen — a smart TV browser, a stick, an old laptop — and pair it from your phone. No media player to buy.

Start from your kitchen

Each one opens the maker with a real starter menu and a palette built for that food — a sushi board and a barbecue board should not look like the same board.

Once the board is built

The maker gets you a board. These cover the parts that come after it: getting it onto a real screen, designing it so it reads from across the room, and what any of it costs.

Questions people actually ask

Is this digital menu board maker really free?
Yes. You can build the board and download a 1920×1080 PNG without an account, a card, or an email address. A free ChannelOS account is only needed to do the thing a design tool can't: show the board on an actual TV and change it after it's live.
What do I need to put the menu board on a TV?
A screen that can open a web page — a smart TV's browser, a cheap streaming stick, or an old laptop plugged into the HDMI port. You open the player URL on the screen and pair it from your phone. There is no media player to buy and nothing to install.
Can I change prices after the board is on the screen?
Yes, from your phone or laptop, and the screen updates itself — you don't walk over to the TV. This is the part a PNG can't do: once a downloaded image is on a screen, changing a price means making a new image and putting it there by hand.
How is this different from making a menu in Canva?
Canva gives you a beautiful file and stops. It doesn't schedule anything and it doesn't manage displays, so getting that file onto a TV — and keeping it right — is still your problem. This maker produces the same file, and can also run it on the screen, swap it at 6pm, and push a price change to every location at once.
Can I show a different menu at breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Yes, with an account. You schedule each board to the hours it should air and the screen switches on its own. That's the most common reason people move off a static image: the board is only correct for part of the day.
Does the QR code cost anything or expire?
No. The QR code is drawn into the board itself and simply encodes whatever link you type, so it works as long as that link does. There's no redirect service in the middle, nothing to renew, and no scan limit.

Your board is built. Now light up the wall.

A screen, a phone, two minutes. Pair a TV, put this board on it, and change the prices from anywhere — including at 6pm, from the pass.
