Partner program
20% of what a business you refer pays us, for their first 12 months. Then 10%, for as long as they keep paying.
ChannelOS pays partners 20% of collected per-screen subscription revenue, net of payment-gateway charges and indirect tax, for a merchant's first 12 months, then 10% every year after, for as long as that merchant keeps paying. Joining is free. There is no per-signup bounty and no minimum quota.
No joining fee. Nothing to buy, stock or install. One level only: you never earn from signing up other partners.
What does the ChannelOS partner program pay?
Every term we have, on this page, before you give us anything. Of 21 digital signage vendors we checked on 1 August 2026, 7 publish a commission rate at all, and none of them publishes the base, the exclusions, the holdback, the clawback and the payout date. So here is all of it.
| Rate, merchant's first 12 months | 20% of collected per-screen subscription |
|---|---|
| Rate, every year after | 10%, for as long as that merchant keeps paying |
| Recurring | Yes. Paid on every charge, not once at signup |
| Per-signup bounty | None. If nobody you introduce ever pays, you earn nothing |
| Cost to join | Nothing. No fee, no deposit, no minimum purchase |
| Minimum quota | None |
| Annual commitment | None |
| Exclusivity required | None. Promote other signage products at the same time |
| Attribution | First touch, 90-day window, first code wins |
| Code locks to the merchant | At their first successful payment |
| Holdback per charge | 30 days |
| Payout run | Monthly, on the 7th. Cut-off 23:59 IST on the 6th |
| Minimum payout | ₹500. No minimum on your first payout |
| Below the minimum | Carries forward. Never expires, never forfeited |
| Refund clawback | 180 days from the charge |
| Payout method | UPI or bank transfer |
| Levels | One. You cannot recruit sub-partners and nobody earns from your sales |
| Approval | No sales call and no interview. We issue your code by hand, usually within 2 working days |
What the 20% is not paid on
- AI credit top-ups
- the Agency plan's ₹2,000 per month workspace fee
- promotional grants, free periods and ₹1 first months
Commission is paid on per-screen subscription revenue only, calculated from what we actually collect rather than from a list price.
We do not promise earnings. The percentages on this page are the whole offer. What you actually earn depends entirely on how many businesses you introduce and whether they keep paying, and we have no way to predict that for you. We will never show you an income figure, because we would have no evidence for it.
What does one screen actually pay, in rupees?
Worked out from the prices on our pricing page, for one screen. Never multiplied by a number of shops, because we have no idea how many you would introduce and neither does anyone else.
| One screen | Published price | 20%, first 12 months | 10%, every year after |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo, annual | ₹4,788 per screen per year | ₹957.60 | ₹478.80 |
| Solo, monthly | ₹499 per screen per month | ₹99.80 per month | ₹49.90 per month |
These are gross-basis figures worked out from our published prices, for one screen, for that year. The amount actually credited is calculated after Razorpay's charge and after any indirect tax that applies, so it is a little lower. We will publish the exact netting basis with a worked example before the first payout runs. We do not publish an average, a projection or a monthly income figure, because no ChannelOS partner has been paid yet and there is nothing to average.
How does the ChannelOS partner program work?
Ask for your code
Fill the form at the bottom of this page. No PAN, no bank details, no interview. We send back a short code and a link, usually within 2 working days.
Show a business a TV that already works
Open play.channelos.tv on any TV with a browser. Nothing is installed on it. Give them your code, or send your link.
They pay, then you get paid
The first screen is free forever, so you are paid when a business chooses to run a second screen or a paid feature. 20% of what they pay for their first 12 months, then 10% while they stay.
Your job is the introduction. Ours is the product. The business signs up and runs it themselves, and they get the same self-serve support every ChannelOS customer gets. We do not promise a response time on this program and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Who is this digital signage partner program for?
Local marketers and freelancers
You already walk into shops, gyms, clinics and showrooms. This is one more thing to leave behind on a visit you were making anyway.
Agencies and web shops
You already build the client's menu, the poster and the price list. The screen it runs on is the part nobody has sold them.
AV installers, TV dealers, board printers
You already know which shops change what is on their wall, which is the qualifying question nobody else can answer.
People who write for Indian business owners
Restaurant, gym, salon and clinic audiences. Not general make-money-online audiences: our codes carry no discount, so there is nothing in it for a deal hunter.
Who should not join this program?
-
You need a payment for every signup, click or lead.
There is none, deliberately, and there never will be. It is what keeps fake signups loss-making instead of profitable.
-
You need the money inside 60 days.
A charge clears a 30-day holdback and payouts run on the 7th, so the first money is 31 to 60 days after your merchant actually pays us.
-
Your audience is consumer deal hunters.
Our codes carry no discount, so there is literally nothing for you to publish to them.
-
You want a protected area before a single screen is live.
The open program has no territory and no exclusivity, for anyone.
-
You cannot, or will not, label a post as a paid link.
Indian advertising rules put that duty on us as well as on you, so we have to enforce it.
-
You want case studies and references before you start.
We have none. See the honest answer above, and come back when we do.
-
You run an agency and want to run the screens yourself.
You are almost certainly better off on the Agency plan than as a partner. Read /pricing first.
There is no joining fee, there never will be one, and if anyone ever asks you for money to become or stay a ChannelOS partner, they do not work for us.
When and how do partners get paid?
Commission is held for 30 days after the customer's payment clears. That is the window in which a payment can still be reversed.
Payouts run on the 7th of every month. Anything past its 30 day hold by 23:59 IST on the 6th goes out in that run, by UPI or bank transfer. In practice the money reaches you between 31 and 60 days after your customer paid.
The minimum payout is ₹500. Your first payout has no minimum, however small it is, so you see a transfer land in your account before there is anything much at stake.
Below ₹500 the balance carries forward. It never expires and we never take it back. Ask once a year and we will clear out whatever is sitting there.
If a customer is refunded within 180 days, that commission comes off your balance and future commission fills the hole. If you never earn again, we write it off: no invoice, no demand, nobody sent after you. Chargeback fees the bank charges us are ours, not yours.
A payout is released only for a workspace that has actually had a screen running since the charge. We do not pay commission on a screen that was never paired. Full mechanics are in the partner terms, and our customer refund policy is at /refunds.
How is a referral tracked: a link, a code, or a conversation?
Your link
channelos.tv/?ref=YOURCODE
carries the code for them. First touch wins and it holds for 90 days.
Your code
A short code you can say across a counter, print on a card or send on WhatsApp. The business types it once at checkout. It carries no discount, so it is a tracking code and not a voucher.
If two of you claim it
First code wins, timestamped, never last touch. The code locks to that business at their first payment and cannot be changed after that, by them or by us.
Building on top of this? The program is documented for machines too.
Every rate, exclusion, window and payout rule on this page is also published as
JSON at
/.well-known/partner-program.json,
with the accepted URL parameters and the code format. Any platform, directory or
network can build a working referral link without asking us for anything.
ref is canonical;
aff,
via,
partner,
p and
fpr all resolve to the same thing, and a click id you
pass through comes back to you unchanged. A signed server-to-server postback and a
read-only stats API are designed and not yet built, so they are absent from the
descriptor rather than advertised as a 404.
How does this compare with other digital signage reseller and affiliate programs?
Every figure below is that company's own published claim, read on the page linked in the source column on 1 August 2026. If any of them has changed, tell us and we will correct it. Rows we could not deep-link are not in the table.
| Program | Published rate | How long it lasts | Barrier to join | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ChannelOS | 20%, then 10% | For as long as the merchant keeps paying | None | this page |
| Kitcast | From 15% per paid screen per month | Recurring, monthly | None. No minimum sales, no annual commit, no exclusivity | their page |
| SignageNow | 15% of every payment | Lifetime. Not limited to the first year | Not published | their page |
| MangoSigns | 10% of every payment | Lifetime of the customer, no caps | Not published | their page |
| EasySignage | 30% of gross revenue | First year only, capped at $2,000 per customer | None. 60-day cookie, 60-day hold | their page |
| Display NOW | 30% margin | Not stated | Zero growth commitments | their page |
| Xibo | 5% white label, 12% distributor, 20% invite only | Persists on renewals | Setup fee applies | their page |
Where we lose: our 10% steady state is below Kitcast's and SignageNow's 15%, which both run for the life of the customer. Over a long-lived customer, Kitcast pays more in total at the same zero barrier. You would have found that out eventually, so here it is first.
Where we win: our first year is higher than all three of the lifetime programs above, and against the only program that pays more than us, EasySignage's 30% stops at month 12 and caps at $2,000 per customer while ours has no end date and no cap. And we publish the base, the exclusions, the holdback, the clawback and the payout date, which none of them does.
What are the rules a ChannelOS partner has to follow?
Say it is a paid link
Every post, video, story, newsletter or message that carries your code or link must be labelled up front, where it cannot be missed, in the language of the post. The word to use is Affiliate. Indian advertising rules put this duty on us as well as on you, which is why we enforce it rather than suggest it: a breach voids commission on the referrals it affected and ends the partnership.
Never make an earnings or outcome claim
Not about what you make, not about what other partners make, and not about what ChannelOS does for a shop's sales, footfall or customers. You may say what is published on this website, what the product does, what you did with it and what you liked and did not like. Our own video titles and social posts are not a claims source.
This is not a chain, and we keep it that way
One level. You earn on businesses who pay for screens and you earn nothing from signing up other partners. We never tell a customer, anywhere, that referring other shops will reduce or recover what they pay us, and commission is always paid out to you by transfer, never netted off somebody's subscription. That is the line Rule 7 of the Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021 draws, and we stay on the right side of it deliberately.
The things that end a partnership
Bidding on the ChannelOS brand name or its misspellings, spam and unsolicited bulk messaging, referring yourself, impersonating ChannelOS or its support, inventing customers or results, and undisclosed endorsement. The full list is in the partner terms.
How do I join the ChannelOS partner program?
Five fields. No PAN, no bank details, no interview, no fee. We read every one of these ourselves and send back your code and link, usually within 2 working days.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the ChannelOS partner program?
- The ChannelOS partner program is a revenue share for anyone who refers a business to ChannelOS, a digital-signage platform that runs on a TV's own browser. ChannelOS pays 20% of collected per-screen subscription revenue for a merchant's first 12 months, then 10% every year after, for as long as that merchant keeps paying. Joining is free and there is no sales call.
- How much commission does ChannelOS pay?
- ChannelOS pays 20% of collected per-screen subscription revenue for a merchant's first 12 months, then 10% every year after. The base is net of payment-gateway charges and net of indirect tax. One Solo screen on the annual plan is ₹4,788, so 20% of it is ₹957.60 on a gross basis, for that screen, for that year.
- Is the ChannelOS commission recurring or one time?
- It is recurring. There is no per-signup bounty and no one-off finder's fee. You are paid every time the merchant you referred is charged, for as long as that merchant keeps paying. The rate steps down from 20% to 10% after their first 12 months and then stays at 10% with no end date.
- Do I get paid for signups, or only when someone pays?
- Only when someone pays. Commission is paid on collected per-screen subscription revenue, so a free account, a paired screen on the free plan or an abandoned signup earns nothing. That is deliberate. It removes the incentive to farm signups, which is why there is no approval queue and no interview to get in.
- What is excluded from the ChannelOS commission?
- Three things sit outside the commission base: AI credit top-ups, the Agency plan's ₹2,000 per month workspace fee, and promotional grants or ₹1 first months. Commission is paid on per-screen subscription revenue only. All three exclusions are printed on this page and in the partner terms, not buried in a footnote.
- When do I get my first payout?
- Each charge clears a 30-day holdback before it becomes payable. Payouts run monthly on the 7th, with a cut-off at 23:59 IST on the 6th, by UPI or bank transfer. The minimum payout is ₹500, and there is no minimum on your very first payout, however small it is, so you see a transfer land in your account before there is anything much at stake.
- Is there a joining fee, a minimum target, or an exclusivity clause?
- None of the three. There is no joining fee, no deposit, no minimum purchase, no sales quota, no annual commitment and no exclusivity. You can promote other signage products at the same time. If anyone ever asks you to pay ChannelOS to become or stay a partner, it is not us.
- How is a referral tracked if I just tell someone in person?
- Give them your partner code. It is a short code you can say out loud, write on a card or send in a WhatsApp message. A referral link works too, and carries the code for them. Attribution is first touch with a 90-day window, first code wins, and the code locks to that merchant at their first payment.
- Do I have to pay tax on ChannelOS partner commission in India?
- Commission is taxable income in your hands. Where Indian law requires us to deduct tax at source on commission, we will deduct it, issue the certificate, and it will show in your Form 26AS. That is why we ask for your PAN before your first payout and not at signup. We are confirming the exact rate and threshold with our chartered accountant and will publish them here before the first payout runs.
- Do I need a GST registration to be a ChannelOS partner?
- Whether you need a GST registration depends on your own circumstances and we are not qualified to advise you on it. Ask your chartered accountant. If you are registered, invoice us with the commission and the GST as two separate lines, because one combined figure changes how tax at source is calculated.
- Who should not join the ChannelOS partner program?
- Anyone who needs a payment per signup, because this is revenue share only. Anyone who needs money inside 60 days, because a charge clears a 30-day holdback first. Anyone whose audience is consumer deal hunters, because our codes carry no discount. Anyone who cannot label a post as a paid link. And anyone who needs case studies, because there are none yet.
- How much do ChannelOS partners earn?
- ChannelOS does not publish that, because no ChannelOS partner has been paid yet, so any figure would be invented. What we publish instead is the arithmetic on one screen: 20% of a Solo annual screen at ₹4,788 is ₹957.60 on a gross basis for that year, and 20% of a Solo monthly screen at ₹499 is ₹99.80 a month.
- Is the ChannelOS partner program an MLM or a referral chain?
- No. There is one level and only one. You earn on businesses who pay for screens, and you earn nothing from signing up other partners. There is no downline, no joining fee and nothing to buy. We also never tell a customer that referring other shops will reduce or recover what they pay us, which is prohibited by Rule 7 of the Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021.
- Can I use a coupon code instead of a link?
- Yes, that is the point of the code. The merchant types it once during checkout and the referral attaches to their workspace. The code carries no discount today, so it is a tracking code and not a voucher, and there is nothing in it for a coupon aggregator. If we ever ship a discount-bearing code it will be a different string with different terms.
