Questions people actually ask

Can a shake menu say a drink helps recovery or fat loss?
Not without evidence. The FTC expects health claims about foods and supplements to be backed by competent and reliable scientific evidence. Stick to label facts you set from your own recipe, such as 28 g protein, and the price. This board lists boosts by name and price only for that reason.
Should protein grams be on the menu board?
If your members choose on it, yes, as long as the number comes from your actual recipe and scoop size. Recalculate it when you change a supplier or a serving. A figure that no longer matches the cup is worse than no figure.
Do I have to post allergens on a gym shake menu?
Federal allergen labeling rules cover packaged food rather than drinks made to order, but some states and cities have their own rules, and shakes often contain milk, peanuts or tree nuts. This board ends the shake slide with a line asking members to ask about allergens before they order.
