What is urgent care digital signage?

Urgent care digital signage is a screen in an urgent care clinic that tells patients how the clinic works: walk-in and video visits, the conditions it treats, the patient portal and when to call 911 instead. This portrait board covers those in four slides and does not show wait times or queue numbers.

This board runs on

Any screen with a modern browser. There is no media player box to buy and nothing to install: you open a link on the TV, pair it once, and change what it shows from your phone.

It is authored at 9:16, so stand the TV on its end and the board fills it.

Questions people actually ask

What should urgent care signage cover?
Hours and visit options, what the clinic treats, how to use the patient portal, and when to call 911. Keep each topic on its own slide. Patients in a waiting area are often unwell and distracted, so fewer words and larger type matter more here than almost anywhere.
Can we list the conditions we treat?
Yes, in plain terms such as sprains, sore throats and minor cuts, with a line inviting questions if a patient is unsure. This board also notes X-ray on site. Avoid implying the clinic handles emergencies it does not.
Where should a portrait screen go in an urgent care?
Beside check-in or on a wall facing the waiting chairs, high enough to be seen over people standing in line. A TV on its end fits a narrow space between doors. Keep it away from exam room doors, where it would face staff rather than patients.
Can the clinic change its hours on the screen quickly?
Yes. Hours are ordinary text on the first slide. Change them in the editor on a phone and publish, and the screen updates. On a paid plan you can also schedule a holiday hours board to replace the regular one on set dates.
