What is clothing store digital signage?

Clothing store digital signage is a TV on the shop floor or in the window that shows what is new, what is on sale and until when. This fire-themed board is a weekend sale in three slides: the headline discount, three tiers from top sellers to storewide, and a last chance slide for Sunday.

This board runs on

Any screen with a modern browser. There is no media player box to buy and nothing to install: you open a link on the TV, pair it once, and change what it shows from your phone.

It is authored at 16:9, so stand the TV the usual way and the board fills it.

Questions people actually ask

What should a clothing store sale screen show?
Three things a shopper takes in while walking: how much off, on what, and until when. Name the tiers the way your racks are labeled, such as new arrivals or selected lines, so the screen and the tags agree. Leave detailed exclusions to the tags and the till, since nobody reads fine print on a TV.
Is a screen better than printed sale signs?
Not always. Print wins in a spot with no power or wifi, or for a sale that never changes. A screen earns its place when the offer changes often: a weekend sale, a new tier on Sunday, a line that sells out. Changing the board is typing, and an old sign cannot stay up by mistake.
Can the screen promote the online store too?
Yes. The board already says in store and online, and every line is editable, so you can add your web address as text or add a QR code that opens your shop. Keep the address short enough to read from across the floor.
Does it run on the TV we already have?
If the TV has a modern web browser, yes. Open play.channelos.tv on the TV, scan the code with your phone and publish the board. Android TV, Google TV, webOS and Fire TV all work, and a TV that is not smart can use a streaming stick. There is no media player box to buy.
