What is a digital notice board for coworking space?

A digital notice board for a coworking space is a screen in the lobby or lounge that replaces pinned paper notices with slides members read at a glance: today's events, meeting room availability, member perks, house rules and desk offers. Any TV with a browser can run one, updated from a phone in seconds.

This board runs on

Any screen with a modern browser. There is no media player box to buy and nothing to install: you open a link on the TV, pair it once, and change what it shows from your phone.

It is authored at 16:9, so stand the TV the usual way and the board fills it.

Questions people actually ask

What should go on a coworking space notice board?
Keep it to four or five recurring slides and rotate the content, not the layout. Today's events with a start time, meeting room availability, member perks and partner discounts, house rules such as call booth etiquette and cleaning, and one ask: a day pass, a referral, or an open desk. Anything a member needs to act on in the next 24 hours belongs on the screen. Anything evergreen, like the wifi password or the full price list, belongs on a printed card or the member portal, because a screen that never changes stops being read. Give each slide one headline and one supporting line. A member walking to the coffee point reads for about three seconds.
How much does a digital notice board for a coworking space cost?
Price it in three parts and get each quoted separately: the panel, the player, and the software. A screen already mounted in your lounge is the cheapest panel there is, so audit what you own before you buy anything. The player is whatever runs the board: a smart TV browser, a streaming stick, or a small PC. The software is the part that repeats every month, and it is almost always billed per screen, so ask what screen two costs before you commit. Indian LED notice board suppliers quote hardware plus installation as a single line item. Split that line, because you can often reuse the display and pay only for what puts slides on it.
Can I turn a normal TV into a digital notice board?
Yes, if the set has a browser or takes a streaming stick. Point it at a web page holding the slides and leave it open. Three settings decide whether it survives unattended: turn off the screensaver and sleep timer so the panel does not blank overnight, set the TV to resume the last input after a power cut, and disable the inactivity auto standby many sets enable by default. Mount it landscape for a lobby, since a 16:9 board fits a room list and an events row side by side. Check legibility with the sign trade rule of roughly 25mm of capital letter height for every 3 metres of viewing distance. ChannelOS runs a board like this in an ordinary browser tab.
Where should the screen go in a coworking space?
Put it where people already stop, not where the wall happens to be empty. The three placements that earn their keep are the entrance path a visitor walks in on, the coffee point, and the corridor outside the meeting rooms. Mount the centre of the screen at standing eye level, roughly 1.5 metres from the floor, and keep it out of the direct sightline of anyone at a desk or it turns into a distraction complaint. Measure the furthest realistic reading distance, then size the headline with the sign trade rule of about 25mm of capital height per 3 metres. Avoid a wall facing a glass frontage: a consumer TV cannot fight direct sunlight and you will need a high brightness commercial panel.
