### What should a marriage palace show on its display board?

List the day's functions before anything else: hall name, function (Mehndi, Sangeet, Anand Karaj, Reception), start time and the family name as it appears on the invitation card, so a guest arriving at the gate can self-direct without asking staff. After that comes capacity per hall, package inclusions, the catering counters and parking direction. Keep each slide to one idea and time the loop so it repeats faster than the walk from the gate to the hall door, usually eight to twelve seconds a slide. Anything a guest needs while standing still, such as a QR code for booking enquiries, belongs on its own slide and not squeezed beside the schedule.

### How much does a marriage palace display board cost?

Price the screen and the content separately, because they are two different bills. A printed flex or acrylic board is charged per square foot and has to be reprinted every time a rate, a package or a hall name changes, so its real cost is the reprint frequency rather than the first quote. A television board costs whatever the display costs once, plus a small media device if the TV has no browser of its own, and after that a rate change is an edit rather than a reprint. Before asking anyone for a quote, count how many times last year you reprinted a board. If it was more than twice, the screen usually wins. ### How big should the text be on a marriage palace board?

Work back from where the guest stands. The sign trade rule of thumb is 25mm of capital letter height for every 3 metres of viewing distance, so a hall name read from 12 metres across a lobby needs capitals about 100mm tall, which on a 55 inch landscape screen is roughly a seventh of the screen height. That is why a marriage palace board carries four or five lines at most and not a full rate card. Anything a guest will walk right up to, such as package inclusions or a menu, can drop to half that height because the reading distance halves. If a line fails the test, split it across two slides rather than shrinking it.

### Can one screen handle two weddings on the same day?

Yes, and the usual mistake is trying to fit both onto one slide. Give each hall its own slide with the hall name exactly as it is printed on the invitation card, the function, the start time and the family name, then let the board cycle between them. Two functions in the same hall on one day, a morning Anand Karaj and an evening reception, are two entries and not one, because guests arrive for one and not the other. Keep a fixed slide order so regular staff learn it, and put the venue map or parking slide last so it is the one on screen during the quiet stretch between arrivals. Update the board the night before, not on the morning.
