### Can a cycling studio call its classes spin classes?

Be careful. Spin and Spinning are registered trademarks of Mad Dogg Athletics, the company behind the Spinning program. Studios without a license usually describe classes as indoor cycling or cycle classes instead, which is what this board does.

### What should an up next slide show?

The next ride's name, coach and start time, and when doors open for bike setup. This board shows doors at 5:50 PM for a 6:00 PM ride, which answers the question people ask as they walk in. Update it from your phone if a ride is cancelled.

### Should the screen show calories or power figures?

Not as a promise. Calorie and output figures vary by rider and bike, and quoting them on a sign invites a claim you cannot support. Describe rides by music, length and coach instead, as this board does.

### What does a studio screen cost?

One screen is free for good, with no card. Free screens show a small "Made with ChannelOS" badge in one corner, and any paid plan removes it. Paid plans are per screen, from $5 a month billed annually or $6 monthly, with scheduling for rides that change by day.
