## What is a warehouse kpi board?

A warehouse KPI board is a floor scoreboard showing units picked, on-time shipping percentage, order accuracy and dock status, typed in by a shift lead rather than pulled live from a WMS or andon line. Paired across several floor screens on one channel, the same numbers stay in sync everywhere, and a facility running shifts can schedule a different scorecard, or a reset count, to come up automatically at shift change.

A warehouse floor runs this on a wall-mounted TV: units picked, on-time shipping, order accuracy and dock status, typed in once a shift and visible on every screen tuned to the same channel.

## Frequently asked questions

### Who should use a warehouse KPI board?

A warehouse, distribution center or production floor that wants its daily numbers (pick rate, on-time shipping, accuracy, dock status) visible on the floor without buying a WMS dashboard integration. It fits a facility with several floor screens that currently show different, hand-updated numbers, or no numbers at all outside a manager's spreadsheet.

### How do I change the numbers on the board?

Open the show in the editor, tap a number, type the new one. Units picked, the shipping percentage and dock status are all plain text and table cells a shift lead updates at handover or at the top of the hour, the same discipline as updating a whiteboard, just reaching every paired screen at once instead of one.

### What problem does this actually solve?

Keeping a performance scorecard consistent across several floor screens, and resetting or swapping it cleanly between shifts, without a WMS integration project. One screen with stale numbers reads as a broken dashboard; several screens disagreeing with each other reads as nobody owning the number.

### How does ChannelOS solve it?

Pair every floor TV from one account, group them onto a channel, and the number you edit once reaches every screen on that channel at the same moment, with no per-screen republish. The channel's daily timeline also lets a facility schedule a shift-change reset or a different scorecard to air automatically at the hour shifts turn over, so the night-shift board doesn't open on the day shift's stale count.

### What does ChannelOS actually do?

ChannelOS is digital signage that runs in a TV's own browser: build a show in the editor, pair a screen by scanning a code from your phone, no player box per TV. Channels group screens together and schedule what airs on them by time of day, which is what lets a multi-screen, multi-shift warehouse floor run one set of boards that update and swap themselves. The first screen is free forever.

## How to use it

1. Open https://channelos.tv/t/floor-performance-kpi-board-a3918121-9d92-45c1-b55c-d21940d0fd2a and press "Use this template". Create a free account and the template opens in your own workspace.
2. Change the words, prices and photos in the editor, from a phone or a computer.
3. On the TV, open play.channelos.tv in its own browser, pair it from your phone with the code it shows, then publish the board to it.

It runs in the television's own web browser. There is no media player box to buy and
nothing to install. The first screen is free. Free screens show a ChannelOS banner
along the bottom of the screen. Any paid plan removes it.
