# ChannelOS pricing

> Solo and Pro are per screen, per month, in US dollars, the one currency ChannelOS sells in. On Solo and Pro the first screen is free for ever and never flips to paid. Agency, for 25 or more screens, is a flat monthly base with 25 screens included.

On Free, Solo and Pro, billing is per SCREEN, not per location and not per user. There is no
setup fee, no hardware to buy and no media-player box, because the television's own web browser
is the player. Adding a second screen means paying for screen two onward; screen one stays free.

## Free, Solo and Pro

Both columns are the price for ONE screen. The annual column is the monthly-equivalent of an
annual commitment (pay for ten months, get twelve); the monthly column is the month-to-month
rate with no commitment. Both are published because quoting only the lower one and charging the
higher is a misdescription.

| Plan | Per screen / month, billed annually | Per screen / month, billed monthly | Screens included | AI credits / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 | 50 |
| Solo | $5 | $6 | 1 | 150 |
| Pro | $8 | $10 | 1 | 400 |

## Agency

For 25 or more screens. Agency is a flat monthly base that includes 25 screens, 1,500 AI credits a month pooled across the team, and 10 team seats. Each screen after 25 is billed per screen, as a second subscription that only exists once a workspace passes 25 screens.

| Agency | Billed annually | Billed monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Base, 25 screens included | $200 / month ($2,400 a year) | $250 / month |
| Each screen after 25 | $6 / screen / month ($72 a year) | $7.50 / screen / month |

The free first screen does not apply on Agency: the base already includes 25 screens.

## What the free plan actually is

A permanent plan, not a trial. One screen, one seat, no card and no countdown. It includes the
full slide editor, live control of the board, 50 AI credits a month, and export, so nothing you
build is locked in.

Free screens show a ChannelOS banner along the bottom of the screen. Any paid plan removes it. The banner takes no airtime: it is never a slide and never
interrupts the show.

What it does NOT include, stated plainly: channels and scheduling (dayparting by hour and
weekday), live takeover, and one-tap background removal all start on Solo; brand kits start on
Pro.

## AI credits

Every plan, the free one included, gets a monthly pool of credits covering all AI generation:
whole shows, slide edits and AI images. The pool refills every month whether you pay monthly or
annually. Editing a show yourself costs nothing and is unlimited. If the pool runs out you can
buy a one-off top-up pack; nothing is hard-blocked and nothing is surprise-billed.

| Top-up pack | Price |
|---|---|
| 100 credits | $6.99 |
| 500 credits | $27.99 |
| 1,000 credits | $52.99 |
| 5,000 credits (Agency workspaces only) | $199 |

## Currency

Every price is in US dollars, for every customer, wherever they are. There is no second
currency and nothing is converted at checkout: the number on this page is the number
charged. Subscriptions are paid by card (Visa or Mastercard). Payments are processed by
Razorpay.

## Questions

### Is my first screen really free forever?

Yes. One screen, free, always — and it never flips to paid when you add more. Free screens show a ChannelOS banner along the bottom of the screen, and any paid plan removes it. On Solo and Pro, add a second screen and you only pay for screens two and up. No trial clock, no bait-and-switch.

### Does the free screen show ChannelOS branding?

Yes. Free screens show a ChannelOS banner along the bottom of the screen. It is never a slide and never interrupts your show. Any paid plan removes it from every screen in the workspace.

### How do AI credits work?

Every plan, free included, gets a monthly pool of credits that covers all your AI generation: whole shows, slide edits and AI images. Free is 50 a month, Solo 150, Pro 400, Agency 1,500 pooled across the team. The pool refills every month whether you pay monthly or yearly. If you run out, top up with a one-time pack whenever you need more. Nothing is hard-blocked and nothing is surprise-billed.

### Who do I talk to when something breaks?

A person, and it is a small team, so you get the founder rather than a ticket queue. Email founder@channelos.tv or message us on WhatsApp — we answer within two business days, usually the same day. Paid plans get email support; Pro and Agency go to the front of the queue.

### What does “2 months free” mean?

Annual billing costs about ten months of the monthly price and covers twelve. Prefer monthly? Toggle it on: it's about a fifth to a quarter more, with no commitment.

### How does Agency pricing work?

Agency is for 25 or more screens. It is $200 a month billed annually ($2,400 a year), or $250 billed monthly, and that includes 25 screens, 1,500 pooled AI credits a month and 10 team seats. Each screen after 25 is $6 per screen per month billed annually ($72 a year), or $7.50 billed monthly. The free first screen does not apply on Agency, because 25 screens are already included. Agency workspaces can also buy 5,000 AI credits for $199.

### Do I need to install anything on the TV?

No. Open one URL in the TV's own browser and it becomes a screen: no media-player box to buy and no per-device license. We also publish an Android TV app if you would rather install one. It is not on Google Play yet, so it is a download from our site, and it needs no hardware either.

### What's a public channel?

It's on our roadmap: a channel published to a public link that any phone, tablet or laptop opens with no pairing — fanning out to hundreds or thousands of viewers, for networks, events and multi-site walls. Not live yet — tell us if you need it and we'll bring you in early.

### Can I leave without losing my work?

Yes. Export any show or channel — slides, media and fonts — into one portable file and take it anywhere. No lock-in.
